Estes Park is a year round destination. Enjoy the fun, food and entertainment of festivals, arts and crafts shows and special events throughout the year. Here is a little taste.

The Estes Park Winter Festival coordinates with Annual Winter Trails Day in Rocky Mountain National Park. Test out snowshoes in the park, warm up with a chili cook-off and sample your favorite wines and beers. The Ice Castle enchants kids of all ages.

The "rockets’ red glare" over Lake Estes is the grand finale of a day long July 4 Celebration. This is considered one of the best events anywhere in Colorado.

Celebrate everything Scottish with bagpipe bands, parades, dancing, food and traditional highland games at the Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival.

What is that strange sound? Starting in early September and lasting into later October, elk bugling signals the annual elk rut in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Elk Fest honors these impressive animals and the changing of the seasons.

Downtown Estes Park becomes a pedestrian mall closed to vehicles as shop owners competitively decorate and pass out treats for Halloween. Everyone comes in costume.

Catch the holiday spirit the day after Thanksgiving with the Estes Park Catch the Glow Holiday Parade/Celebration. Mother Nature often adds her own magical touch to the parade. This is just the beginning of a month of festivities.
