Our Estes Park, Colorado Lodging Policies

Pets

For the comfort and safety of all our guests, pets are not permitted in any of our Estes Park, Colorado lodging. Check out our dog boarding recommendations.

Service animals are welcome. Aspen Winds must be notified of any service animals prior to your stay. Please contact us.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all the units. Smoking is allowed outside. Colorado law requires smokers to be at least 20 feet from any entrance. Any detection of smoking in a suite will result in a $200 charge and you will be asked to leave. No refunds are given to guests who smoke in our suites.

Children

Children of any age are usually not allowed to stay in our Spa Suites. Under special circumstances and at the discretion of management, children may be allowed in the Spa Suites. Children are welcome in all our other units.

Groups & Reunions

Aspen Winds can not accommodate large family reunions or groups. We are happy to host smaller groups including small weddings and friends and family get-togethers. With the arrangement of the lodge, some of our units can be paired and are ideally suited for guests traveling together.

Deposits

Reservations are confirmed with an advance deposit. Two nights or longer requires a deposit of 50% of the total stay. The total balance is due on arrival.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone incompatible with our private business.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and cash.

Cancellations

We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To best serve all our guests, we kindly ask that any changes or cancellations be made according to the following policy:

  • Standard Reservations: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will forfeit the deposit
  • No shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in time will be charged the full amount of the reservation
  • Peak Season Reservations (JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER): Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to arrival for a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

All cancellations must be made by phone or email and confirmed by our staff. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
